Refund and Withdrawal Policy

Updated

In short: The free trial costs nothing, so try everything before you pay. Payments are final: we do not refund a payment because you changed your mind. The exception is the law. If you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you have 14 days from your first payment to withdraw and get that payment back in full; we never ask you to give that right up. Renewals and plan changes are not covered. Elsewhere, we refund only where your own country's mandatory law requires it. Link, the Stripe company that takes the payment, may also refund under its own policy. You can cancel at any time and you will not be charged again.

1. Free trial

  • The trial lasts 7 days (30 days with a creator code) and is free.
  • The trial needs no card. If you add no card, nothing is ever charged. You decide if you want a paid plan.

2. Payments are final

  • We do not refund a payment because you changed your mind, did not use the app, or forgot to cancel. The free trial is there so you can try everything first.
  • Exceptions:
    • EU, EEA and UK consumers can withdraw within 14 days of their first payment (section 4).
    • Other countries: no refund, except where your own country's mandatory consumer law requires one. Then write to support@twincopier.com and we follow that law.
    • Faults: your legal rights when the app is faulty (section 5).
    • Link's policy: Link (Sold through Link, LLC, a Stripe company) takes the payment as merchant of record. Link may refund a payment within 60 days under its own refund policy, for example for a charge you did not allow, a double charge, or a product that is not as described. Where Link's policy gives you more, it applies.
  • When a payment is refunded, your plan ends and the app stops starting new copy groups. It does not touch your open positions.

3. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time on your account page (Billing) or in your Link account at link.com. Your plan then runs to the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again. The rest of a period, a renewal and a plan change are not refunded, except as stated in section 2.

4. Your legal right of withdrawal (EU, EEA and UK consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days, without giving a reason.

  • What it covers: your first paid payment for TwinCopier. It does not cover renewals, or a later switch to another plan or billing period: those continue the same contract.
  • When the 14 days start: on the day of your first payment. A free trial without payment is not a paid contract. (By law the 14 days run from the day the contract is made; counting from the first payment is never shorter.)
  • No waiver: TwinCopier is an ongoing online service. We do not ask you to give up your right of withdrawal when you start using it. You can use the app fully during the 14 days and still withdraw.
  • What it costs you: nothing. The law would let us keep a part of the price for the days you used. We do not: we refund your first payment in full.
  • How we refund: within 14 days of the day we get your notice, to the card or payment method you paid with, at no cost to you. Your plan ends when we get your notice.

How to withdraw

Use the "Withdraw from contract" button on your account page at twincopier.com (or go straight to twincopier.com/account/withdraw). It is there for the whole 14 days. You give your name and the email for the receipt, then confirm. Your plan ends and the refund starts at once, and we email you a receipt with the date and time we received your notice.

The law also lets you send us the model form below, or any other clear statement that you withdraw, by email to support@twincopier.com or by post. We accept those too; the button is simply the fastest way.

It is enough to send your notice before the 14 days end.

5. Faults

If the app does not work as promised, you have rights under consumer law (in Sweden: konsumentköplagen 2022:260), for example to have it fixed, a price cut or, in some cases, to end the contract and get money back. These rights are separate from this policy and are not limited by it. Contact support@twincopier.com.

6. Card disputes

Please contact us before you dispute a payment with your bank. A refund from us or from Link is usually much faster than a bank dispute. Your right to dispute a payment with your bank is not affected.
