In short: Trading futures is risky. You can lose all the money in your account, and sometimes more. A copier does not lower that risk: it repeats each trade, and so each loss, on every account you copy to. Copies can be late, filled at other prices, or fail, and accounts can end up different from each other. Prop firms have strict rules that a copier can break for you if you are not careful. TwinCopier is a tool, not advice, and it promises no profit. Only trade money you can afford to lose.

1. Futures are risky

  • Futures use leverage. A small price move can cause a large loss, fast.
  • You can lose all the money you put in. In some cases, for example a fast market or a price gap, you can lose more than your account balance and owe your broker the difference.
  • Stop orders do not always protect you. In a fast or thin market, a stop can fill far from its price, or not at all.
  • Past results, yours or anyone else's, do not tell you what will happen next.

2. Copying multiplies your risk

  • Every trade on your leader account is repeated on each follower. One bad trade copied to five accounts is five losses.
  • Size settings (size multiplier, contract such as Mini to Micro, max contracts) change the size of every copy. A wrong setting can make a copy much bigger than you meant.
  • A mistake on the leader, such as a wrong size or a wrong market, is copied too.

3. Copies are not perfect

  • Delay. Each copy takes time to send and fill. In a fast market the follower price can differ from the leader price.
  • Different fills. A follower can fill at a different price, fill in part, or be rejected (for example for margin or a broker limit).
  • Failures. Your computer, internet, broker, broker API or our app can fail, stop or disconnect. A copy can then be missing, late or sent twice, and a follower can be left with a position the leader no longer has, or without one it should have.
  • Your computer must stay on. The app copies only while your computer is awake, online and running the app.
  • Software has bugs. We test hard, but no software is free of errors.

Watch your positions in your broker's own platform, and know how to close them there without the app.

4. Prop-firm rules

  • Prop firms set rules on copiers, hedging across accounts (sometimes across different markets and different firms), automation and bots, the number of funded accounts, maximum contracts, daily loss and drawdown.
  • Some firms allow only copiers on their approved list. TwinCopier may not be on it.
  • A copy that breaks a rule can cost you an evaluation, a funded account or a payout. Firms judge you by their rules, not by what the copier meant to do.
  • Warnings, blocks and Guard limits in the app are aids only. Read your firm's current rules yourself before you copy.

5. Not advice

  • TwinCopier is software. It does not tell you what to trade, it does not trade on its own ideas, and it does not copy other traders.
  • We are not a broker, an investment firm or an adviser. Nothing from us is investment, financial, tax or legal advice.
  • We make no promise of profit, of any return, or that you will pass an evaluation or keep a funded account.

6. Before you trade live

  1. Test on demo or simulated accounts first.
  2. Check every setting: accounts, sizes, contracts, safety switches, limits.
  3. Start small.
  4. Watch the first copies closely.
  5. Keep your broker's platform open, so you can act without the app.
